Welcome to I-Am-Traci-Bartlow.com
My company's name, Starchild Enterprise, is based on the African Adinkra symbol Nsoroma. This image of a star translates to mean, 'my illumination is merely a reflection of God'. As Starchild's Founder and Creative Director I am grateful and inspired to use all the talents I have been blessed with as a performance and visual artist. My work spans as a director, choreographer, educator, gardener, lecturer, photographer and, owner/operator of B-Love's Guest House.
Starchild Enterprise is the umbrella company for my many creative endeavors. There are 3 enterprises Starchild houses.
1. I am a Praise dancer, conduit of the African diaspora. From Lindy Hop to Hip Hop I speak black dance. As a performer, teacher, choreographer, director, curator, event producer, and lecturer my mission is to document and preserve black dance and culture.
